About the role

ING HING HONG TRADING SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced and strategic HR Manager to oversee and manage human resources functions across multiple companies within our group. This is a full-time position based in our Sibu office.

Key responsibilities

1. Develop and implement HR policies and strategies across multiple companies

2. Oversee recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and performance management

3. Manage payroll, compensation, benefits and statutory requirements

4. Advise management on employment matters, workforce planning and organisational needs

5. Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment laws and regulations

6. Lead training, employee development and engagement initiatives

7. Maintain accurate HR records and improve HR processes and systems

8. Liaise with government agencies, insurance providers and other external parties

9. Lead and support the HR team across the group

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.

2. Minimum 8 years of relevant HR experience, including at least 5 years in an HR management role.

3. Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment laws, regulations and best practices in HR management

4. Excellent knowledge of of payroll, recruitment, employee relations and performance management

5. Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills

6. Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications

7. Experience managing HR across multiple companies or entities is preferred

8. Experience in a trading, commercial or SME environment is an advantage
