Senior Quantity Surveyor (Senior QS)

Location: Kelana Square, Malaysia
Salary: Up to RM9,500 per month
Employment Type: 12-Month Contract (Extendable / Potential for Permanent Employment)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Availability: Immediate to 1 Month Notice Period

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor (Senior QS) to join our team based at Kelana Square.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing quantity surveying activities, including cost estimation, tendering, contract administration, cost control, and project financial management.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and Bills of Quantities (BQ).
• Manage tender documentation, tender evaluations, and procurement processes.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and measurement of construction works.
• Monitor project costs and prepare cost reports and forecasts.
• Evaluate variations, claims, and change orders.
• Prepare and assess progress payments and payment certificates.
• Assist with contract administration and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
• Identify potential cost risks and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare final accounts and support project close-out activities.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of cost estimation, tendering, contracts, variations, and cost control.
• Experience in contract administration and project financial management.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Available to join immediately or within 1 month.

Salary: Up to RM9,500 per month

Pay: RM7,500.00 - RM9,500.00 per month

Work Location: In person
