Position Summary

The Warehouse Storekeeper is responsible for managing daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, issuing, and controlling materials, components, and finished goods to ensure smooth production and delivery operations in a battery manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving & Inspection

• Receive raw materials, components, packaging materials, and finished goods.
• Verify delivery orders, invoices, and documentation against physical stock.
• Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages immediately.
• Ensure proper labeling and identification of materials.

Storage & Inventory Control

• Store materials according to designated locations and safety requirements.
• Implement FIFO/FEFO practices and proper stock rotation.
• Maintain accurate stock records (manual and system/ERP).
• Conduct regular stock counts and cycle counts.
• Support stock take and audit activities.

Issuing & Dispatching

• Issue materials to production according to material request forms.
• Prepare and arrange finished goods for delivery/shipment.
• Coordinate with logistics/transport for dispatch schedules.
• Ensure correct documentation for outgoing goods.

Warehouse Organization & Safety

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse areas.
• Ensure proper stacking, storage, and material handling practices.
• Follow safety procedures, PPE usage, and company policies.
• Support 5S, safety audits, and housekeeping activities.

Documentation & System Updates

• Update inventory records in ERP/Excel systems.
• Prepare daily receiving, issuing, and stock movement reports.
• Maintain proper filing of warehouse documents.

Coordination

• Work closely with production, PMC, purchasing, and QA/QC departments.
• Support urgent production material requirements.
• Assist supervisors in warehouse operations planning.

Requirements & Qualifications

• SPM / Certificate / Diploma in Logistics, Warehousing, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in warehouse/storekeeping (manufacturing environment preferred).
• Basic computer skills (Excel, inventory systems/ERP).
• Ability to handle physical work and warehouse operations.
• Responsible, disciplined, and reliable.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
