We're a local manufacturer of cutting-edge electronic instrumentation for industrial applications, pushing boundaries with innovative ideas and new inventions to expand our presence in regional markets across the Asia Pacific region. We are looking for a hands-on and motivated Production & Service Technician to join our technical team. The successful candidate will be involved in product assembly, testing, calibration, production support and servicing of electronics and electrical equipment.
This is a practical technical role suitable for candidates who enjoy working with equipment, electronics, instruments and hands-on in a production and service environment. Training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate the right attitude and willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform product assembly, inspection and testing to ensure products meet required quality standards and production schedules.
- Carry out calibration, functional testing and verification of instruments and systems using designated calibration equipment and procedures.
- Perform servicing, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of products and equipment when required.
- Collect production, testing and calibration data and prepare accurate service and production reports.
- Operate workshop tools, test equipment and assembly equipment safely and correctly.
- Manage assigned work orders and ensure jobs are completed according to required specifications and timelines.
- Maintain accurate production, calibration and service records, including timely submission of required documentation.
- Use PCs and relevant software, including Microsoft Office and calibration/service software.
- Communicate and coordinate with colleagues from production, engineering, service and other departments to resolve technical issues and complete assigned work.
- Support product development, system integration and improvement activities when required.
- Identify production or technical issues and propose practical solutions or improvements.
- Follow company safety procedures and promptly report any safety concerns, equipment issues or workplace risks.
Requirements
- NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, Sensors & Systems Integration or other relevant engineering disciplines.
- A hands-on, practical and “can-do” attitude, with initiative to solve problems and overcome challenges. Training will be provided.
- Willingness to learn new technologies, equipment, testing methods and industry practices.
- Able to work independently as well as effectively as part of a team.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a technical environment involving instrumentation, electronics, sensors, calibration and system integration.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Candidates with relevant technical knowledge or experience in instrumentation, electronics, sensors, calibration, testing or field servicing will have an advantage.
