What The Role Is
The GRaduate Industry Traineeship Programme within the Public Service (GRIT@Gov) provides fresh graduates with opportunities to gain industry-relevant skills and experience that can strengthen their employability to take up full-time roles in the sector. This traineeship is with the Charities Unit, which regulates and supports charities and Institutions of Public Character in Singapore. Our work shapes a well-governed and thriving charity sector with strong public support. We take a robust yet balanced approach to regulation, working closely with partners to strengthen charity governance and capabilities, championing co-regulation, transparency and accountability to enable safer giving.
What You Will Be Working On
- Supporting digital transformation and system enhancement projects.
- Assisting with business analysis, user testing and project coordination.
- Conducting research on AI and emerging technologies.
- Supporting process improvement initiatives.
- Preparing reports, presentations and project documentation.
- Liaising with stakeholders, vendors and partner agencies
What We Are Looking For
- Ability to analyse business process, identify gaps and recommend improvements
- Familiarity with digital technologies
- Comfortable with project coordination, management and managing multiple workstreams
- Proactive, self-motivated individual
- Good research, communication, problem solving skills to help support the projects
The traineeship will be for a period of 6 months. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
