Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree – Final Year or Final Semester (preferred).
• Current CGPA of 3.2 and above (preferred).
• Able to commute daily to office in Bayan Lepas, Penang (No accommodation or transportation provided).

Roles and responsibilities:

• Assist in data entry, document verification, and preparation of financial reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations.
• Help in preparing financial analysis and reports for internal review.
• Assist with invoice processing, expense claim, and payment tracking.
• Support tax related matters, including compiling documents for tax incentives and compliance.
• Participate in reviewing financial policies, internal control, and process improvements.
• Assist in liaising with auditors, tax authorities, and external stakeholders when required.
• Support treasury functions such as cash flow tracking and forex related tasks.
• Maintain proper filing of financial records and documents.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Department head.

Job Requirement:

• Currently pursuing Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Economics, Commerce or any related field.
• Candidates from Mathematics or Statistics with an interest in accounting or Finance are also encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to details, and problem-solving ability.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn, be it independently or from the people around you.
