Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Geotechnical Engineer role based in Selangor, Malaysia. The Geotechnical Engineer will plan, execute, and supervise site investigations, including field testing and sampling, and interpret ground conditions to support project design and construction. Responsibilities include analyzing soil and rock properties, preparing geotechnical reports, and providing recommendations for foundation design, slope stability, earthworks, and ground improvement. The role involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams, contributing to engineering geology assessments, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and safety regulations. The Geotechnical Engineer will also support project planning, attend site meetings, and provide technical guidance during design and construction phases.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Site Investigation and engineering geology assessments.
• Candidates should possess solid understanding of Soil behavior, classification, and soil-structure interaction.
• Candidates should possess applied expertise in Geotechnical Engineering and Engineering Geology for design and analysis.
• Candidates should possess practical experience in Foundation Design, including shallow and deep foundations.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Experience in oil and gas, energy, or infrastructure projects, preferably with on-site project exposure.
• Proficiency in geotechnical analysis software and familiarity with relevant local and international standards.
• Strong analytical, report-writing, and communication skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work safely in field environments and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
• Min 1 year experience
