Job Description

- Formulation of a project execution strategy with Project Manager and work towards maximizing profitability.

- Experience in Power Generation or related business with relevant knowledge in areas of mechanical and electrical power engineering, rotating equipment, instruments and controls. materials, fabrication methods / procedures, heat transfer, noise control, installation method and relevant subjects related to power generation and project management.

- To ensure successful execution of project, the incumbent job duty includes:

- Participate and resourceful in problem solving in Project technical issues.

- Source and identify for new vendors and products that will enhance total project solutions for customers viz-a-viz lowered costs or valued added advantages.

- Evaluate projects risks (technical scope and delivery times) and to provide mitigation plan and take actions to reduce risks and enhance project viability within predetermined customer requirements.

- Evaluate project commercial terms and conditions versus client requirements to come up with a win-win solution.

- Maintain systematic filing of all documents arising from the execution of job duties, to ensure a neat working environment and effective stand-in by colleagues during period when incumbent is indisposed.

- To perform any other duties and responsibilities duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Projects Manager that will enhance and contribute to the overall efficient operation of the company.

- Execute projects within profitability expectations with approximately multiple projects running concurrently.

- Maintain good working relationship with customers.

- To adhere all safety rules and procedures as set by the Company.

Key responsibilities include:

- Assist with on-site project management

- Develop project execution strategies with Project Manager

- Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and tender submissions

- Problem-solve technical project issues

- Source vendors & innovative solutions

- Evaluate project risks & provide mitigation plans

- Maintain organized project documentation

- Execute multiple projects concurrently

- Build & maintain strong customer relationships

Job Requirements

- Bachelor’s in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering

- Atleast 3 years’ experience as Project Coordinator/Engineer/Manager

- Experience in Power Generation / related industries

- Proficient in AutoCAD & Microsoft Office

- Knowledge of engineering standards, fabrication, installation, and controls

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
