Key ResponsibilitiesPre-Contract (Tendering & Estimating)
- Prepare detailed cost estimates based on design drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Perform quantity take-offs and forecast costs for materials, labour, plant, and equipment.
- Prepare tender documents, budgets, and Bills of Quantities (BoQ).
- Source, analyse, and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
Post-Contract (Cost & Contract Management)
- Monitor and control project costs to ensure expenditure remains within the approved budget.
- Measure and value completed work on-site and prepare Interim Payment Certificates (IPC) and progress claims.
- Assess, evaluate, and negotiate variations, change orders, and compensation events.
- Manage subcontractor payments and final account settlements.
- Negotiate and finalize project accounts with contractors, subcontractors, and clients.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
- Proficient in preparing BoQ, cost estimation, and contract administration.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and quantity surveying software.
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
