Network Security Engineer – Japanese N2

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer with strong expertise in SD-WAN, Network Security, Routing, and Switching. The ideal candidate must have Japanese language proficiency at N2 level or above, along with strong English communication skills, and experience managing enterprise network and security environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, and maintain enterprise network and security infrastructure.
• Manage and support SD-WAN solutions, including deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Configure and troubleshoot routing and switching technologies across enterprise networks.
• Implement and manage network security solutions including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and security policies.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and security events.
• Troubleshoot complex network connectivity and security issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Support network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvement initiatives.
• Work with global teams, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve network and security incidents.
• Maintain network documentation, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Participate in incident, change, and problem management processes.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

• Japanese Language – N2 level or above (Mandatory)
• English communication skills – Mandatory
• Strong hands-on experience with SD-WAN
• Strong knowledge of Network Security
• Excellent understanding of Routing & Switching
• Experience with enterprise networking technologies such as TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, BGP, OSPF, and DNS
• Experience with network security devices such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN gateways
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a global/onsite team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant networking/security certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or equivalent
• Experience with cloud networking and hybrid network environments
• ITIL or enterprise IT operations experience

Experience

5+ years of experience in Network Engineering / Network Security, with hands-on experience in SD-WAN, routing, switching, and enterprise security.
