Company Description

Click IX, founded in 2022, brings together experienced professionals specialising in digital signage solutions, marketing, and branding. We design, deploy, and maintain digital signage networks for clients across Malaysia, including retail chains and telecommunications brands. Our work spans creative content, software and hardware deployment, network infrastructure, and data reporting — which means an intern here sees a real product end to end, not a training exercise.

Role Description

We are opening our internship programme across five tracks. This is a paid, on-site internship based in WP. Kuala Lumpur, with intakes running on a rolling basis and duration matched to your university's requirement.

Interns at Click IX work on live client projects with real deadlines. You will be given actual responsibility, a person who is accountable for supervising you, and work you can put in a portfolio afterwards. We keep intake numbers small so this stays true.

The Tracks

Marketing / Digital Marketing
Content creation for our own channels and client campaigns, social media planning and scheduling, competitor and market research, campaign performance reporting, and support on proposals and pitch materials.

Web Developer / Front-End Engineer / UI/UX
Building and maintaining web interfaces and internal tools, translating designs into working front-end code, wireframing and prototyping, and improving the usability of the dashboards our operations team and clients use daily.

Software Engineer
Scripting and automation for internal operations, working with APIs and integrations across our content management and reporting systems, building tools that replace manual processes, plus testing and documentation.

Network Engineer
Supporting connectivity for deployed digital signage across client sites: IP configuration, routers and switches, remote connectivity troubleshooting, network documentation, and site readiness checks. Some site visits included.

Data Analytics
Turning raw operational data into something people act on: cleaning and structuring datasets, building reports and dashboards, spotting patterns in screen uptime and performance, and helping automate reporting that is currently done by hand.

Who We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in a field relevant to your chosen track, with an internship placement required or approved by your institution
• Genuine interest in the area you are applying for — we would rather have curiosity than a long list of coursework
• Willing to work on-site in Kuala Lumpur for the duration of the placement
• Able to communicate clearly in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Comfortable asking questions, taking feedback, and working alongside a small team
• Any relevant portfolio, coursework, personal project, or GitHub is a plus — attach or link it if you have one
