Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor the Quality Plan and Inspection & Test Plans (ITP).
- Conduct inspections on incoming materials, fabrication, installation, and completed works.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, codes, and standards.
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation, inspection reports, and quality records.
- Coordinate inspections with clients, consultants, and third-party inspectors.
- Raise, monitor, and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and Corrective Action Requests (CAR).
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor calibration status of measuring and testing equipment.
- Participate in internal and external quality audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Welding Inspection or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance within engineering, oil & gas, mechanical, piping, structural steel, or electrical works.
- Good knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
- Familiarity with ITPs, WIRs, NCRs, CARs, and quality documentation.
- Able to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of welding inspection, NDT, or relevant quality standards is preferred.
- CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector certification or equivalent qualifications will have an added advantage.
