Your Mission
The Senior Executive, IT Checkroll supports the development, implementation, enhancement and ongoing support of ICT systems and solutions, with a focus on Checkroll applications and related business processes. The role works closely with business users and relevant stakeholders to ensure systems are reliable, effective and aligned with operational requirements.
Job Description
- Support the analysis of business and system requirements, including identifying system gaps and evaluating appropriate solutions.
- Support process mapping, data modelling and documentation activities for new or enhanced systems.
- Assist business users in adopting new systems, including user guidance, system familiarisation and data migration from existing systems.
- Prepare and maintain functional and/or technical design specifications for systems to be developed, enhanced or implemented.
- Participate in application development, system configuration, integration and testing activities.
- Support system implementation and deployment at site, including troubleshooting and post-implementation support.
- Collaborate with business users, management, consultants and relevant IT teams to understand requirements and resolve system-related issues.
- Provide application support and contribute to continuous improvement of Checkroll systems and related applications.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Head, Group IT and/or other superiors from time to time.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or postgraduate qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or other related disciplines.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in application development, system support, implementation and deployment, preferably in a heterogeneous systems environment.
- Experience across the application development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design through development, testing, implementation and post-implementation support.
- Experience working with system modules, system integration and application design.
- Strong business and technical analysis skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into practical system solutions.
- Good understanding of general IT system design principles and application development lifecycle.
- Working knowledge of SQL and database queries.
- Basic understanding of network, hardware and IT infrastructure.
- Experience in mobile application support will be an added advantage.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging users at different levels, management teams and external consultants.
