Job Purpose

To assist the Finance & Accounts team in carrying out daily financial and administrative activities, ensuring accurate documentation, proper record keeping, and timely completion of finance-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in data entry and updating financial records into the accounting system.
• Assist with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
• Assist in checking and verifying invoices, payment documents, receipts, and supporting documents.
• Assist in preparing documents for payment processing and ensure required supporting documents are complete.
• Assist in maintaining and organising finance-related documents and filing.
• Assist in monitoring and updating outstanding invoices and payments.
• Support the Finance team in preparing reports, schedules and other financial documentation.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and preparation of supporting schedules.
• Perform general finance and administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
• Liaise with other departments when required to obtain supporting documents or information.
• Ensure all financial information and company documents are handled with confidentiality.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Management or immediate manager.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting and finance principles.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Willing to learn and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Responsible, disciplined and able to maintain confidentiality.

Pay: RM800.00 - RM1,000.00 per month
