We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Executive to manage and support the company’s IT infrastructure for our plant. The IT Executive will be responsible for providing daily technical support, managing IT hardware and ensuring smooth operations of local servers and network infrastructure. This role also involves close coordination with Group IT teams to ensure alignment with group IT standards, policies, security guidelines and project implementation across the local country.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide daily technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers and peripherals
• Perform hardware setup, installation, upgrades, troubleshooting and maintenance
• Manage asset inventory for all IT equipment, ensuring accurate records and lifecycle tracking
• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot local servers, including file servers, domain controllers and application servers
• Manage local network infrastructure (switches, routers, Wi-Fi, firewalls) to ensure stable connectivity and performance
• Conduct routine backup, patching and system health checks
• Support IT security enforcement including antivirus, endpoint protection and access control
• Serve as the local IT contact for Group IT on initiatives and projects
• Ensure local implementation aligns with Group IT standards, cybersecurity requirements and compliance policies
• Assist Group IT with rollout of new systems, cloud solutions and digital transformation projects
• Ensure timely renewals of IT services (internet, licensing, support contracts, etc.)

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support or IT operations
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory and basic server administration
• Experience with network troubleshooting: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, Wi-Fi
• Familiarity with firewalls, endpoint security and data protection tools
• Basic understanding of cloud technologies is an advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
