About the Role

To supervise and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the terminal facility, ensuring safe, efficient and reliable handling, storage and transfer of petroleum, petrochemical and other bulk liquid products in compliance with company procedures, HSE requirements and applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily terminal operations, including product receipt, storage, transfer, loading and unloading activities.
• Coordinate terminal operations with customers, vessel operators, contractors, transporters and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor tank farm, pipeline, jetty/marine and loading/unloading operations to ensure activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, Permit-to-Work (PTW), operating procedures and emergency response requirements.
• Monitor product movements, tank levels, line-ups and operational activities to ensure accuracy and prevent operational disruptions.
• Supervise and optimize manpower, equipment and other operational resources.
• Monitor operational KPIs such as terminal throughput, vessel turnaround time, equipment availability, operational efficiency and incident performance.
• Identify operational risks, bottlenecks and process gaps and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead and supervise terminal operations personnel, including work allocation, coaching and performance monitoring.
• Coordinate emergency response and participate in drills, incident investigations and follow-up actions where required.
• Ensure proper documentation, operational records and shift reports are maintained accurately.
• Work closely with Maintenance, HSE, Engineering, Commercial and other departments to resolve operational issues.
• Support continuous improvement, cost optimization and operational excellence initiatives within the terminal.
• Ensure terminal operations comply with relevant statutory, environmental, marine and industry requirements.
• Perform other duties and projects assigned by management.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Operations Management, Petroleum/Oil & Gas or related discipline.
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in terminal, tank farm, oil & gas, petrochemical, marine or bulk liquid operations.
• Experience in terminal/tank farm operations, product handling, loading/unloading and marine/jetty operations will be an advantage.
• Able to work in a 24/7 operational environment, including shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.
