Role Summary

The incumbent is responsible for providing administrative and coordination support to the Supply Chain team to ensure the smooth execution of sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management activities. The intern will assist in maintaining accurate procurement records, preparing documentation, and coordinating communication with suppliers under the guidance of the Supply Chain team based in Singapore.

Role Responsibilities

• Acquire deep product knowledge on Legrand products such as Wiring Devices, Smart Automation & Hotel Guest Room Management system.
• Promote list of Unique Selling Point (USP) for Wiring Devices and Lighting management system for the commercial industry.
• Promote Legrand Products through solid sales presentations, and together with Marketing through events and networking sessions.
• Responsible for preparing concept proposals, & specifications (Legrand name and/or USP of Legrand solutions should appear in the specifications during the tendering stage).
• Develop a clear understanding of Legrand Products and provide training (internal and external) when required.
• Understand the profile and buying needs of specifiers and expand Legrand's business.
• Developing and increasing new specifiers base and business.
• Conduct weekly sales visits to Consultants and End Users and provide/update weekly sales visit reports in Salesforce.
• All project management and specification are to be monitored using Salesforce.
• Work closely with Legrand Business Developers projects to ensure close order after specifications have been done.
• A details internship report includes but not limited to the customers’ perception of the Legrand product buying motivation, analysis of the competition in the market
• Research on new project & monitor market information to identify potential clients & market industry tread.

Role Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's degree major in Business / Marketing or any Engineering related field.
• Highly energetic and fast learner, able to absorb knowledge fast, on both business and technology.
• Strong customer focus, an advocate of excellent customer service and highly adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
• Independent as well as a team player and proactive and resourceful, very hands-on and meticulous.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), internally and externally.
• Well-versed in MS Office (Excel) & Presentation Skill.
• Possess strong can-do attitude and Strong work ethic.
