Overseeing the entire production process, from planning to completion
Ensures production are met while maintaining quality standards
Managing production schedules and resource allocation
Monitoring production costs and implementing cost-saving strategies
The effective management and control of production function (quality, cost & delivery) and operation
Ensures the fulfillment of production targets at acceptable quality and cost
Ensures all manufacturing resources are fully and efficiently utilized according to APM Manufacturing System (AMS) standards
Ensures all products meet customer specifications and achieve the desired customer satisfaction
Ensures all ancillary services including 4M in the production area, machinery and tools are properly maintained to ensure the safety and efficient running of the workplace
Lead good housekeeping and 5S to promote quality awareness, a safe working environment and enhance employee morale
Ensures the proper planning of local and import raw materials, WIP and Finish Goods are properly stored in the production area is in control
Ensures effective implementation of quality system procedures
Create, maintain and distribute the Production Master Schedule to forecast upcoming work following the master planning schedule from the PPCD department
Coordinate job status and new project/program requirements throughout the plant
Work with Production Engineering and Maintenance department to resolve bottlenecks and work stoppages and manage the flow of materials and completion of work
Coordinate with the Purchasing and Operations teams to resolve 4M-related issues and minimize any impact on production schedules and delivery deadlines.
Foster employee engagement by communicating clearly and effectively. Provide coaching, training, guidance, and mentorship to employees across all roles and functions to support their growth and performance.
Carry out any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the immediate superior or management from time to time.
Job Specifications:
Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Manufacturing/Industrial
Minimum 8 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
Experience with inventory management, supply chain management, and quality control systems.
Previous experience in automotive manufacturing or a similar high-volume, precision-focused industry is preferred.
ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor Certification.
