Sales Engineer

employment Type: Full-time
Working Days: Monday – Friday (8:30 AM – 6:00 PM)
Salary: RM3,000 – RM4,000 + Allowances + Commission + Quarterly Incentives

Job Overview

We are hiring a Sales Engineer for an established company in the electrical, electronic and engineering solutions industry.

This is a Technical Project Sales & Business Development position involving B2B client engagement, consultant relationships, project opportunities and tender sales.

The role is suitable for candidates who enjoy meeting clients, developing relationships and combining technical knowledge with business development.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new B2B sales leads and business opportunities.
• Meet and engage with consultants, contractors, building owners and clients.
• Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Identify and follow up on engineering and project sales opportunities.
• Manage project and tender pipelines.
• Support quotations and tender submissions.
• Promote electrical and engineering solutions.
• Follow up with customers throughout the project sales cycle.
• Attend client and project meetings.
• Participate in exhibitions and roadshows.
• Coordinate with internal technical and support teams.
• Maintain sales activities and pipeline updates in the company system.
• Support senior sales team members in lead generation and business development.

Requirements: Sales Engineer

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic or Mechanical Engineering.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Candidates with technical/project sales experience will have an advantage.
• Strong interest in developing a career in technical sales.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and disciplined.
• Comfortable with client-facing and field-based work.
• Willing to travel for meetings when required.
• Comfortable working with KPIs and sales targets.
• Able to manage project sales cycles that may take several weeks or months.
• Own transport preferred.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
