Are you a Quantity Surveyor looking for more than just preparing measurements and paperwork?

Join our project team and gain hands-on exposure across different areas of the construction industry, from main building and structural works to Interior Design (ID), renovation and fit-out works.

Our projects cover a wide range of construction activities, giving you the opportunity to develop practical QS knowledge across structure, architectural, M&E coordination, ID, renovation, finishes, procurement and commercial management.

We also work together with international companies and overseas business partners, including companies from China, giving our team exposure to international working environments, construction materials, suppliers, project requirements and business practices.

This is a great opportunity for a Junior QS, Assistant QS or an ambitious Quantity Surveyor who wants to become a well-rounded project and commercial professional.

Job Responsibilities and Scope:

• Preparation of project budgets and material quantity requirements
• Taking-off quantities and preparing cost information
• Site measurement and progress valuation
• Preparation and evaluation of Variation Orders (VO)
• Subcontractor quotation comparison and award
• Subcontractor account management
• Final account preparation
• Monitoring material usage and wastage
• Cost control and project cost database management
• Liaising with consultants, Quantity Surveyors, architects and project teams
• Contract administration and pre/post-contract operations
• Assisting in tender pricing and tender documentation
• Supporting project procurement and commercial negotiations
• Conducting site measurement and verifying completed works
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and project documents

Qualifications

• Degree / Diploma / Professional Quantity Surveying, or equivalent. Fresh graduates, Assistant QS are welcome to apply.
• Familiar with AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Mandarin is an advantage due to our international business collaboration.
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Responsible, detail-oriented and willing to learn
• Able to work independently as well as part of a project team
• Interested in developing a long-term career in construction and commercial management
