JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our team as the BIM Engineer where you will be responsible for producing high-quality BIM models and drafting outputs across all project stages, from feasibility to as-built. This includes using tools like Revit, AutoCAD, and others to create 3D and 2D drawings, managing clash detection and resolution with software such as Navisworks and BIM360, and ensuring accurate documentation of critical components for Data Centre facilities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant working experience in BIM modelling or engineering design. Fresh graduates with relevant software skills may also be considered.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD. Knowledge of Navisworks and other BIM-related software is an added advantage.
• Familiar with BIM standards, modelling practices and coordination workflows in construction projects.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical documents.
• Good understanding of M&E systems, building services or construction coordination.
• Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently, meet project deadlines and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

JOB SCOPE

• Responsible for day-to-day planning & implementation of BIM-related project activities.
• - Manage and coordinate BIM standards development, implementation, and quality control across all models and related files.
• - Provide CAD drafting and BIM modeling support to project teams.
• Ensure all BIM models comply with industry standards, company guidelines, and project -specific requirements.
• Assist in design coordination, design development, design reviews, and value engineering exercises.
• Able to complete BIM models and related drawings in a timely and high-quality manner.
• Develop BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and understand the scope of work for prefabrication teams.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of construction workflow processes and priorities.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and project requirements.
• Conduct clash detection analysis and participate in coordination meetings to resolve design and construction conflicts.
• Contribute to the documentation, dissemination, and monitoring of standards, best practices, and industry advancements.
• Support model-based prefabrication planning and implementation with field teams.
• Prepare and update as-built BIM models and ensure proper handover documentation upon project completion.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
