Role Description The Site Engineer role at XPERTS.MY is a contract position based in Cyberjaya with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site responsibilities with some work-from-home flexibility. In this role, the Site Engineer oversees daily site activities, coordinates with contractors and project teams, and ensures work is carried out according to plans, specifications, and safety standards. The position involves monitoring construction progress, performing inspections, resolving technical issues, and supporting structural and civil engineering design implementation. The Site Engineer also contributes to quality control processes, prepares reports and documentation, and communicates project updates to stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.

Qualifications

• On-site project experience with strong understanding of construction processes and site coordination.
• Effective communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Quality control capabilities, including inspection, compliance checks, and adherence to standards and safety regulations.
• Knowledge of structural engineering principles and ability to support structural design implementation on site.
• Background as a civil engineer or in civil engineering disciplines, with familiarity in infrastructure or building projects.
• Relevant degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and adapt to a hybrid work environment and to be based on site.
• Experience with sustainability-focused projects or interest in sustainable construction practices is an advantage.
