Diploma in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. •

Certification such as Certified Environmental Professional in Scheduled Waste Management (CePSWaM), Certified Erosion, Sediment and Stormwater Inspector (CESSWI), or equivalent environmental certification will be an added advantage. •

Good understanding of Environmental Management Plans (EMP), environmental regulations, environmental monitoring, and construction site environmental practices.

Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in environmental monitoring, environmental compliance, or construction site environmental supervision. •

Experience conducting environmental inspections, monitoring site environmental controls, and maintaining environmental documentation. •

Familiarity with environmental regulations, Environmental Management Plans (EMP), site environmental monitoring, and pollution prevention measures. •

Good communication, coordination, and organisational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a site-based environment.

Conduct routine environmental inspections to ensure construction activities comply with the Environmental Management Plan (EMP), project requirements, and environmental regulations. •

Monitor site environmental control measures, including dust, noise, water discharge, waste management, erosion and sediment control, to minimise environmental impacts. •

Ensure environmental mitigation measures are effectively implemented and maintained throughout project execution. •

Identify environmental non-conformances, report findings promptly, and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions. •

Maintain environmental inspection records, monitoring reports, checklists, and compliance documentation to support regulatory and project requirements. •

Coordinate with site supervisors, subcontractors, and project teams to promote compliance with environmental standards and site environmental controls. •

Assist during environmental audits, regulatory inspections, and environmental monitoring activities conducted by authorities or consultants. •

Promote environmental awareness, good housekeeping practices, and pollution prevention initiatives through toolbox briefings and daily site engagement.
