Job Overview

Are you an experienced academic leader looking to shape the future of higher education in technology? ICMS is inviting qualified academic professionals to join our team as a FULL TIME PROGRAMME LEADER CUM LECTURER IT.

In this dual-capability role, you will balance strategic academic leadership with engaging classroom teaching. You will play a vital role in managing IT programmes, overseeing curriculum development, and driving student success while maintaining high educational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Programme Leadership: Oversee programme implementation, manage curriculum reviews, and maintain full compliance with MQA accreditation standards (COPPA) and institutional policies.

• Teaching & Instruction: Prepare and deliver engaging lectures, evaluate assessments, and provide direct academic guidance to ensure high learning outcomes.

• Quality & Audits: Lead Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives, prepare audit documentation, and serve on the Vetting Committee for exams and rubrics.

• Industry Engagement: Collaborate with external industry partners, alumni, and advisory panels to create strong internship networks and keep programmes market-relevant.

• Academic Operations: Coordinate class timetabling, monitor student progression, oversee student administration, and maintain accurate records within the e-MAS system.

Job Requirements

• Academic Qualifications: Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of proven experience in academic management, curriculum development, and student administration.

• Leadership & Teaching: Demonstrated capability in academic leadership, delivering effective classroom instruction, and managing academic operations.

• Communication: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

• Personal Traits: Organized, detail-oriented, highly ethical, and possessing a supportive, student-centred mindset.
