About the role

This is an internship position assisting in the supervision and monitoring of air-conditioning installation, servicing, maintenance and repair works.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in supervising and monitoring air-conditioning installation, servicing, maintenance and repair works

• Oversee technicians during indoor and outdoor field work

• Ensure work is carried out according to company procedures and safety requirements

• Monitor job progress and report any delays, issues or site problems to the supervisor

• Check that tools, equipment and materials required for each job are available

• Take pictures and document completed work for company records

• Assist in checking the quality of completed installation/repair work

• Coordinate with customers or site representatives when required

• Record job details, materials used and work completed

• Assist with preparing daily work reports

Requirements:

• TVET/Diploma/Degree student in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, HVAC/Refrigeration, Building Services or a related field

• Willing to work outdoors and indoors and travel to customer/project sites

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Able to supervise and coordinate with technicians

• Basic knowledge of air-conditioning systems is an advantage

• Responsible, punctual and willing to learn

• Possess a driving license would be an advantage
