Role Description The Business Development Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Cheras. This role is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, generating leads, and building a sustainable sales pipeline for international freight and logistics services. Day-to-day activities include engaging with prospective and existing clients, preparing proposals and quotations, conducting sales presentations, and negotiating terms to close deals. The Business Development Executive will manage key accounts, maintain strong client relationships, and coordinate closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure service quality. The role also involves monitoring market trends, contributing to sales strategies, and reporting on performance and business growth.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in New Business Development and Lead Generation to identify opportunities and build a strong client base.
• Candidates should possess Business and Account Management skills to manage client portfolios and support long-term partnerships.
• Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to conduct presentations, negotiate with clients, and collaborate with internal teams.
• Relevant experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain management is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work independently, meet sales targets, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., MS Office) and CRM tools is an advantage.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Comfort working on-site in Cheras and engaging with clients in person.
