The Web Developer will support the development and enhancement of scalable web applications that contribute to business growth and improve user experience. Involved in building new features, maintaining existing systems, and continuously learning best practices in software development, performance optimization, and code quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Development & Maintenance

• Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining web applications to ensure smooth functionality and system reliability.
• Support updates and enhancements to existing systems to keep them aligned with business and user needs.

Feature Implementation

• Work closely with senior developers to implement new features based on technical specifications and business requirements.
• Contribute ideas and suggestions during development to improve feature effectiveness and usability.

Bug Fixing & Troubleshooting

• Identify, analyse, and resolve bugs or technical issues in existing systems in a timely manner.
• Assist in debugging processes to minimise system downtime and improve application stability.

Performance & Optimization

• Support efforts to improve system performance, including page speed, responsiveness, and scalability.
• Assist in enhancing user experience by identifying areas for usability improvements.

Collaboration & Requirement Understanding

• Participate in team discussions and meetings to understand project requirements and development goals.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure accurate and efficient implementation of tasks.

Code Quality & Documentation

• Write clean, structured, and maintainable code following established coding standards.
• Prepare basic documentation to support system maintenance and future development.

Requirements

• Minimum a Degree in Computing Studies or Software Engineering
• 1–2 years of experience in web development
• Basic knowledge of ASP.NET / VB.Net or similar backend technologies
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with databases (SQL Server)
• Basic understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Exposure to ASP.NET Web Forms or MVC
• Experience working with APIs (REST/SOAP)
• Familiarity with tools like Visual Studio
• Basic knowledge of web hosting, servers, or cloud platforms

Pay: From RM4,000.00 per month
