Smartlink Engineering Sdn. Bhd. is a Malaysian contract manufacturing company serving the semiconductor and high-technology industries. We specialise in the design, fabrication, assembly and integration of industrial automation equipment, precision machinery, control panels, electrical and mechanical modules, and customised engineering solutions.

As we continue to expand our manufacturing operations, we are looking for a Process Engineer to join our engineering team and support the development, improvement and optimisation of manufacturing processes.

Work Location :

Current Location: Klang, Selangor
New Location: Sijangkang, Selangor
Relocation: The company is expected to move to its new facilities in Sijangkang by January 2027.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and optimise manufacturing processes to improve productivity, efficiency, and overall operational performance.
• Analyse production processes, equipment, and performance data to identify improvement opportunities and implement effective solutions.
• Work closely with Production and relevant operational departments to improve process efficiency, reduce defects, minimise operational costs, and maximise output.
• Evaluate, recommend, and support the introduction of new equipment, tools, and process technologies to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
• Develop, modify, and monitor production processes to ensure consistent quality, optimum output, and compliance with established operating standards.
• Collect, analyse, and report process performance, efficiency, and cost-related data to support operational and management decision-making.
• Maintain relevant process documentation, work instructions, and records to ensure proper process control and compliance with applicable requirements.
• Conduct continuous improvement initiatives by analysing process flow, identifying root causes of operational issues, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior in accordance with the requirements of the position and department.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.
• Preferably 2–5 years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing engineering or a similar role.
• Experience in a manufacturing or contract manufacturing environment will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, process flow and production improvement methodologies.
• Experience in root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen or continuous improvement practices is an added advantage.
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings, specifications and technical documents.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
