Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of Management/leadership experience in a software development organization required
- Must have at least 2 years experience working through the design, development, release cycle delivery to market
- Disk encryption software development and/or related software experience with Government project strongly preferred
- Large/enterprise application development experience preferred
- Strong understanding of the software development cy
- Experience in computer programming using Java, .net or other wed application frameworks
- Project management experience desired
- Be able to excel in idea generation, evaluation and prioritization, customer and partner engagement, cross-functional technical program management and building/developing great software team
- A record successful delivery of software systems as an individual, team leader and or/development manager
- A willingness to dive into software system environments and technical issues as part of maintain the skills necessary to manage products and projects
- An entrepreneurial spirit with strong product and program management skills
- Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners to get things done
- Excellent written and oral communicate
- Effectively utilizes each team member to his/her fullest potential
- Ability to inspires coworkers to attain goals and pursue excellence
- Ability to mitigates team conflict and communication problems
- Review the status reports of team members and addresses issues as appropriate
- Continually seeks opportunities to increase internal/external customers' satisfaction and deepen customers relationship
Job Responsibilities
- Ability in managing, coordinating, organizing with team leads to execute projects, ensure that teams have appropriate product and technical specifications, directions, and resources to deliver products effectively by establishing realistic estimates for timelines while ensuring that projects remain on target to meet deadlines
- Track and report the status of projects on various teams acting as a gateway through which work should be assigned to appropriate teams while ensuring that project scope is adequately defined
- Demonstrate leadership abilities to our commercial and Government clients with the deployment of software enhancements and fixes that are coordinated based on release schedules
- Demonstrate a software plan that meets the future needs of our commercial and Government clients on technical challenges of industry demand
- Evolve the existing software system application and architecture in various areas as needed
- Helping developers resolve problems both technical as well as human resources issues, tracking and approving vacation and personal days for employee within their teams and monitoring individual employees' performance and relaying this to upper Management
- Provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate and lead team members to their optimum performance levels and career development
- Manages and develops upgrades to the Company’s software system and oversees the administration and maintenance of the software system
- Oversees troubleshooting, system backups, archiving and disaster recovery and provides expert support when necessary
- Initiates and implements improvements in all areas of software related matters
