Location Requirement:

• This position is based in Serdang, Kedah.
• Candidate must be willing and able to work in above-mentioned location.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and execution of laboratory tests related to construction materials (e.g., soil, concrete, asphalt, aggregates).
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate test results.
• Collect, analyze, and record test data accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare samples for testing according to standardized procedures and specifications.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of laboratory equipment and spaces.
• Support senior lab technicians and engineers with various research projects and quality control tasks.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and quality control procedures.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of lab processes and procedures.

Qualification:

• SPM Certificate or above.
• 1–2 years of relevant work experience.
• Previous experience in a construction laboratory setting is advantageous.
• Knowledge of construction materials testing techniques, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, data analysis software).
