Job Descriptions:

• Design, develop, maintain and enhance applications on the AS/400 / IBM I platform.
• Develop and maintain programs using RPG / RPGLE.
• Develop and maintain CL / CLLE programs, jobs and system processes.
• Work with DDS to create and maintain physical files, logical files, display files, and printer files.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Perform complex application troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause analysis.
• Work with DB2 for IBM i databases and SQL to support application development and data related requirements.
• Conduct system and integration testing and ensure solutions meet functional and technical requirements.
• Maintain technical documentation, program specifications, and system-related documentation.
• Collaborate with business users, project teams, and other IT stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
• Support system upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives where applicable.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in AS/400 / IBM i application development.
• Strong hands-on programming experience with RPG / RPGLE.
• Strong experience with CL / CLLE.
• Solid experience working with DDS, including physical files, logical files, display files, and printer files.
• Strong knowledge of the IBM i / AS/400 enviroment.
• Good working knowledge of DBS2 for i and SQL.
• Experience maintaining and enhancing large-scale or business-critical legacy applications.
• Conversational Japanese language proficiency is a plus.

Pay: RM9,000.00 - RM11,000.00 per month
