Job Responsibilities (Primary)
- Install and set up PCs, POS systems, and peripheral devices
- Install, Maintain Store POS-related software and ensure system functionality
- Repair or replace computer and electrical hardware as needed
- Troubleshoot and resolve store equipment and device issues
- Arrange equipment replacement, repair, and ordering
- Inspect and maintain CCTV & Foot Fall systems
Secondary Office Support Role.
- Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of business-related applications to ensure system stability and reliability.
- Diagnose and resolve application incidents and system failures promptly to minimize service disruption.
- Respond to user inquiries and troubleshoot issues, ensuring clear communication and timely follow-up.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system enhancements, upgrades, and business process improvements.
- Maintain detailed documentation of incidents, resolutions, and support procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and service continuity
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with POS systems and retail IT environments
- Provide first-level POS system support on both weekdays and weekends, remotely or on-site as required
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in IT support, infrastructure maintenance, or a similar technical role.
- Good knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, networking, and basic troubleshooting for PCs, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Strong understanding of IT asset management and software installation processes.
- Able to handle multiple sites (offices, warehouses, and retail outlets) and travel when required.
- Good communication skills with a customer service mindset, able to support users with patience and professionalism.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willing to work on a rotational support schedule (including weekends or after office hours) when necessary
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, printer, and network-related issues efficiently.
- Manage user accounts, email access, and system permissions while maintaining proper security and documentation.
- Assist in ad hoc tasks or special projects assigned by the IT Manager, contributing to overall IT operations.
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
