ROLE DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for a Video Editor with a passion for storytelling and the ability to create engaging visual content.

This role is a great opportunity for someone passionate, creative, curious, and eager to gain hands-on experience across brand, social, digital, presentation, and campaign projects.

You’ll work closely with experienced creatives, helping to create video content while developing your video editing, storytelling, communication, and project management skills in a fast-paced creative studio environment.

Location: 12, Jalan CJ 2/11-1e, Taman Cheras Jaya, 43200 Cheras, Selangor

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Capture both photography and video content for social media and marketing materials.
• Edit long and short form video content for various platforms including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and more.
• Assemble raw footage into polished, engaging final outputs.
• Add graphics, titles, captions, and other visual elements to enhance storytelling.
• Perform colour correction, sound editing, and basic audio mixing.
• Work with the creative team to maintain brand consistency and visual style.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
• Stay up to date with social media editing trends, editing techniques, styles, creative best practices and new tools.
• Able to travel across Malaysia for video shooting and brand projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1-2 years experience as a Video Editor or similar role.
• Strong proficiency with editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Davinci , Capcut or equivalent).
• Good sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual rhythm.
• Attention to detail and strong creative problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of colour grading and audio mixing.
• Ability to take feedback constructively and adapt quickly.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.

BONUS SKILLS

• Experience with 2D/3D animation or motion graphics.
• Knowledge of sound design or music editing.
