Electrical Engineer (Data Centre Project)

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team for a large-scale Data Centre construction project in Puncak Alam. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, supervising, and ensuring the successful execution of electrical works throughout the project lifecycle while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all electrical installation works on-site.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications, and technical submissions.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams.
• Monitor installation of HV/LV systems, transformers, switchgear, UPS, generators, PDUs, cable containment, lighting, grounding, and ELV systems.
• Ensure works are carried out according to project specifications, approved drawings, and quality standards.
• Support Testing & Commissioning (T&C) activities.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Attend site coordination meetings and resolve technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and project requirements.
• Assist in project handover and preparation of as-built documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical engineering or M&E construction.
• Experience in Data Centre, Industrial, Semiconductor, or Mission-Critical Facilities is an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of electrical distribution systems (HV/LV), UPS, generators, transformers, switchgear, and grounding systems.
• Able to interpret electrical drawings and technical documents.
• Familiar with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and under tight project schedules.
• Willing to be based in Puncak Alam, Selangor.

Preferred

• Experience in Data Centre projects.
• Knowledge of Testing & Commissioning (T&C).
• BEM registration and CIDB Green Card are an advantage.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
