As a Data Analytics Intern, you will support a team of data engineers and analysts working on key projects. You will gain exposure to designing data architecture, creating ETL pipelines, and collaborating with business users to meet data needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing data architectures (e.g., Data Warehouse, Data Lake) and ETL pipelines under guidance.
• Support the analysis of business requirements, helping transform them into dashboard/report design specifications.
• Assist in analyzing business rules and converting them into functional specification documents.
• Collaborate on the design and implementation of dashboards/reports based on business requirements.
• Contribute to the development of ETL pipelines and dashboards/reports as part of a project team.
• Help document business logic and transformations for clarity and future reference.
• Participate in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to implemented solutions.
• Adhere to defined processes, procedures, and best practices throughout projects.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or any other related field.
• Preferably a minimum internship duration of 6 months or longer.

Skills & Competencies:

• Basic proficiency in SQL and database structures.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Microsoft PowerBI, or Qlik.
• Eagerness to learn about ETL tools (e.g., Talend) and Big Data querying tools (e.g., Hive & Hue).
• Good to have: Basic knowledge of Python, Data APIs, unstructured data, and the Hadoop ecosystem.
• Strong interest in developing data analytics and engineering skills.

Job Type: Internship

Pay: RM1,500.00 per month
