Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role based in Petaling Jaya. The Pharmacist will dispense medications accurately, provide medication counseling, and ensure prescriptions are processed in line with legal and professional standards. The role includes conducting clinical and medication reviews, advising customers and patients on proper drug use, side effects, and health management, and supporting chronic disease management initiatives. The Pharmacist will collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the outlet, oversee inventory and stock management, maintain proper storage and handling of medications, and contribute to health education and wellness programs. The role also involves ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, upholding high standards of patient safety, and supporting the overall operations of the pharmacy.

Qualifications

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and full registration with the relevant pharmacy council or board.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, prescription processing, medication safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to provide clear medication counseling, patient education, and customer service in a community pharmacy setting.
• Skills in inventory control, documentation, and basic operational management within a pharmacy outlet.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Detail-oriented, ethical, and committed to high standards of professional practice and patient care.
• Willingness to work on-site in Seremban and adapt to a fast-paced, community-focused environment; experience in retail or community pharmacy is an advantage.
