Job Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare engineering designs, drawings, calculations, and technical documentation based on project requirements.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and design requirements to ensure compliance with relevant standards and codes.
• Prepare and modify detailed engineering drawings using CAD/BIM software.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and other engineering disciplines to resolve design issues.
• Review shop drawings, technical submissions, and material specifications.
• Conduct engineering calculations and provide appropriate technical solutions where required.
• Assist in design development, design changes, and value engineering proposals.
• Ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and suitable for construction.
• Identify and resolve design discrepancies and technical issues before and during construction.
• Support site teams by providing clarification on design and technical matters.
• Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, calculations, and other design documentation.
• Ensure all design work complies with applicable codes, standards, safety requirements, and project specifications.

Academic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant engineering discipline.
• Diploma in Engineering may be considered for candidates with relevant design experience.
• Professional certification or registration with relevant engineering bodies will be an advantage.
• Relevant knowledge of engineering codes, standards, and construction practices.

Skills & Experience

• 2–5 years of experience in engineering design, construction, consultancy, or a related field.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; experience with Revit, Civil 3D, SolidWorks, Tekla, or other relevant design software is an advantage depending on discipline.
• Good understanding of engineering drawings, design calculations, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of relevant engineering standards and construction practices.
• Able to coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and project teams.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy and design quality.
• Able to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Site experience and knowledge of construction methods will be an added advantage.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
