Job Description

NAIS Computer is looking for a Computer Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing and performing quality checks on laptops and Chromebooks before they are ready for sale.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose laptops and Chromebooks for hardware and software issues.
• Troubleshoot computer hardware and software problems.
• Repair and replace computer components when required.
• Install and configure Windows, ChromeOS and relevant drivers.
• Perform testing and Quality Control (QC) on refurbished laptops.
• Test screen, keyboard, touchpad, battery, WiFi, Bluetooth, USB ports, speakers, camera and other functions.
• Perform laptop cleaning and basic maintenance.
• Record repair status, issues and components used.
• Ensure all units meet company standards and are READY TO SELL.
• Provide basic technical support for customers when required.
• Maintain proper tools, equipment and work area.
• Perform other technical duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Experience in computer, laptop or Chromebook repair is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of computer hardware and software.
• Able to diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems.
• Basic knowledge of Windows and ChromeOS.
• Able to perform hardware replacement and basic maintenance.
• Detail-oriented, responsible and able to work independently.
• Able to work well as part of a team.
• Fresh graduates with relevant technical knowledge or qualifications are welcome to apply.
