Key Responsibilities
- Manage purchasing activities including sourcing, obtaining quotations, price negotiation, and issuing purchase orders.
- Build and maintain good relationships with local and overseas suppliers.
- Follow up on purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with suppliers, freight forwarders, and transport providers.
- Prepare and manage import and export documentation where required.
- Work closely with Sales, Production, Project, and Operations teams to ensure timely material availability.
- Resolve supply and delivery issues to minimize operational disruptions.
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and procurement costs.
- Prepare procurement and logistics reports for management.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement and logistics efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, logistics, or supply chain.
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is an advantage.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Able to work independently and multi-tasking.
- Mandarin-speaking candidates are preferred as this role requires communication with suppliers and business partners from China.
Pay: RM3,300.00 - RM4,800.00 per month
