Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible to assist with preparing project quotations for tender and submission
• To assist senior quantity surveyor in all areas of quantity surveying works
• To monitor all variation orders (VO) that are well recorded and claimed
• Responsible to assist with verifying and cost control of all suppliers, sub-contractors, workers and etc., inclusive of project claims and expenses within the budget
• To assist with preparing pre- and post-project budgets, progress claims and tender documentation
• To prepare award of contract, checked contract documents and recommend contractor’s evaluation
• To follow up in acquiring quotations from contractors and suppliers for the purpose of cost assessment, analysis and budgeting
• Able to maintain proper and systematic documentation filing system for outgoing and incoming contract correspondences
• To attend site meetings, site valuation, site measurement (if there is any) and relevant regular meetings
• Monitor every progress claim, certification and invoice to clients is issued on a timely basis
• Monitor all contractual records with clients and suppliers are comply as to always protect the company’s interest
• Source, negotiate and coordinate between suppliers, sub-contractors, manufacturers, and vendors
• Undertake other assigned tasks as required

Qualifications & Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field
• At least 3 years of working experience in a related field
• Preferably specialized in Quantity Surveying with Interior Design background.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills for accurate cost estimation, cost comparisons, and budget management
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with design teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Confident, proactive and able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Trustworthy, attention to details, committed with a strong team spirit
• Proven ability, meticulous and well-organized to work independently in a fast-paced environment and under tight deadlines
• Ability to speak in Mandarin will be plus point
• Willingness to take criticism
• Traveling from office to various sites may require
• Possess own transport
