Job Scope

• Assist in preparing Bill of Quantities (BQ), quantity take-offs and measurements based on project drawings and specifications.
• Assist in preparing project cost estimates, cost breakdowns and tender-related documents.
• Assist in preparing tender and quotation documents and evaluating prices from contractors and suppliers.
• Assist in reviewing contractors’ progress claims based on completed works.
• Assist in preparing and evaluating Variation Orders (VO) and changes to the project scope.
• Conduct site measurements to verify quantities and work progress.
• Assist in preparing cost reports, payment records and contract documentation.
• Assist in preparing the Final Account and ensuring project cost records are properly updated.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Site Teams, contractors, subcontractors and relevant parties on cost and contractual matters.
• Assist in monitoring and controlling project costs against the approved budget.
• Review drawings, specifications, contract documents and variation instructions related to project costs.
• Maintain proper records of project costs, contracts, measurements and related documentation.
• Perform other Quantity Surveying duties assigned by the management.

Job Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with 1–2 years of experience in Quantity Surveying are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of quantity take-off, BQ, tendering, progress claims, VO and Final Account.
• Able to read and understand technical drawings, specifications and contract documents.
• Good understanding of quantity measurement and basic cost estimation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of Quantity Surveying software such as AutoCAD, CostX or related software is an advantage.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, organised and comfortable working with numbers.
• Able to work independently and as part of a project team.
• Willing to work at project sites and travel when required.

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
