About the Role

We are looking for a Risk Intelligence Analyst to join our Research & Analysis team.

This role is suitable for someone who enjoys research, analysing information and turning large amounts of publicly available information into clear and useful written assessments.

You will work on a variety of research assignments covering business developments, markets, organisations, industries and emerging issues. The role requires strong attention to detail, good written communication and the ability to distinguish relevant information from background noise.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct structured research using reliable public and commercial information sources.
• Monitor relevant business, economic, industry and regional developments.
• Collect, organise and verify information from multiple sources.
• Analyse information to identify relevant trends, connections and potential areas of concern.
• Prepare concise research notes, analytical summaries and client-facing reports.
• Support background research and due diligence assignments.
• Maintain accurate research records, source references and working documentation.
• Assist senior team members with research planning and analytical projects.
• Review information for consistency, accuracy and relevance before inclusion in reports.
• Contribute to internal research databases, reference materials and knowledge resources.
• Track developments relevant to assigned industries, companies and markets.
• Present research findings clearly in written formats and, where required, through brief presentations.
• Maintain professional standards when handling confidential client and company information.

What We Are Looking ForEssential

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline such as Business, Finance, Economics, International Relations, Communications, Journalism, Research or a related field.
• Strong research and information-gathering skills.
• Good analytical and critical-thinking ability.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Ability to summarise complex information clearly and accurately.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable working independently as well as within a small team.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Advantageous

• Experience in research, consulting, business intelligence, risk analysis, journalism, market research or a related field.
• Familiarity with open-source research and information verification techniques.
• Experience working with business databases or research platforms.
• Knowledge of regional business environments, particularly Asia-Pacific.
• Experience preparing professional reports or analytical briefs.
• Additional language skills relevant to the Asia-Pacific region.
