WE’RE HIRING: PHYSICS TEACHER

An international boarding school is seeking an experienced Physics Teacher to deliver engaging lessons and support students’ academic achievement.

Monthly salary: RM13,800

Location: Nilai, Negeri Sembilan

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Physics at IGCSE and A-Level, with general science teaching where required.
• Plan challenging, differentiated lessons that meet students’ learning needs.
• Assess and track student progress, provide timely feedback and prepare academic reports.
• Support students with SEN, EAL and gifted learning needs.
• Maintain effective communication with parents and uphold safeguarding standards.
• Lead or participate in at least two co-curricular activities per week and contribute to boarding school life.

Requirements

• Recognised degree in Physics or a closely related scientific field.
• Recognised teaching qualification, such as PGCE, QTS or an equivalent international qualification.
• Experience teaching IGCSE and A-Level Physics, or an equivalent international curriculum.
• Experience in a British curriculum or international school, with familiarity with CAIE, Edexcel or AQA.
• Strong subject knowledge, classroom management and communication skills.
• Previous leadership, mentoring or departmental responsibility experience.
• Experience supporting STEM enrichment, competitions and university pathways in relevant fields.
• Ability to use educational technology and contribute to cross-curricular STEM initiatives.
