Our client, a local company involved in construction contracting, with expertise in ground engineering, foundation and substructures, marine structures, roads and bridges, and building works; is looking for a Project Planner to be based at their office in Kelana Jaya.

The Project Planner is responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules while supporting technical planning through drafting tools. This role requires strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Project to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with technical requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, update, and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Prepare and modify technical drawings and layouts using AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to align schedules with project deliverables.
• Monitor project progress, identify delays, and propose corrective actions.
• Perform critical path analysis and resource planning.
• Track project milestones, costs, and productivity metrics.
• Ensure all drawings and schedules comply with project specifications and standards.
• Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and planning documentation.
• Support tendering, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
• Conduct site visits when required to verify actual progress vs planned.

Requirements

Education:

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field

Experience:

• 2–5 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, or coordination
• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Project

Skills:

• Strong scheduling and planning expertise
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Knowledge of project lifecycle and construction methodologies
• Ability to perform critical path method (CPM) analysis
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and stakeholder coordination
• High attention to detail and organizational skills

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
