Smartlink Engineering Sdn Bhd is a Malaysian contract manufacturing and engineering company serving the semiconductor and high-technology industries. We specialise in cable harness assembly, electrical and mechanical module assembly, control panels, box-build assemblies and system integration solutions to support our customers’ engineering and manufacturing needs.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Executive to manage day-to-day purchasing activities, develop supplier relationships and ensure materials, components and services are procured on time, at the right quality and at competitive costs.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage daily procurement activities including sourcing, quotation, purchase orders and delivery follow-up.
• Source, evaluate and develop suppliers based on price, quality, lead time and reliability.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms and commercial conditions with suppliers.
• Review quotations and conduct price comparisons to support cost-effective purchasing decisions.
• Monitor purchase orders and follow up closely to ensure on-time delivery of materials and components.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve purchasing, quality and delivery issues.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier information and procurement documentation.
• Monitor supplier performance and support supplier evaluation and development activities.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement and procurement efficiency.
• Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies, procedures and approval requirements.

Requirements :

• Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3 years of relevant experience in procurement/purchasing, preferably within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Hands-on experience in sourcing, supplier management, quotation evaluation and price negotiation.
• Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP or purchasing systems is an advantage.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities and coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Candidates with experience in engineering, electrical/electronics, mechanical or contract manufacturing environments will be an added advantage.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
