Overview:

Job Description:

Accounting & Financial Management

• Handle full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Self-driven and hands-on in managing daily accounting activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of tasks.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and schedules accurately and on time.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure all accounting transactions are properly recorded in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.

Taxation & Compliance

• Prepare and submit SST, withholding tax, and other statutory filings where applicable.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and statutory requirements.

Stakeholder & External Liaison

• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, bankers, and government authorities.

Cash Flow & Financial Control

• Monitor cash flow and maintain accurate financial records.
• Monitor daily sales collections from multiple outlets and ensure proper reconciliation with POS systems.

Planning & Analysis

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and providing recommendations.

Process Improvement & Support

• Review accounting processes and recommend improvement initiatives.
• Perform other ad hoc duties assigned by management.
• Use AI to improve productivity, reduce manual work, and enhance the accuracy of accounting and finance task.

Requirements:

• LCCI / ACCA/ Diploma/ Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in handling full set of accounts.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), SST, and taxation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. SQL, AutoCount, UBS, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in the retail, FMCG or manufacturing industry is an added advantage.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
