We are looking for a Design & Technical Engineer (Pre-Sales) to support our client's technical design, pre-sales activities, and project proposal preparation.

The company provides specialised solutions in Lighting Control, Smart Home Systems, Professional Lighting, and Audio-Visual Technology.

You will work closely with the sales, design, procurement, and project teams to develop suitable technical solutions based on client and project requirements.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support pre-sales activities, project proposals, and tender preparation.
• Prepare system designs, technical drawings, and wiring schematics.
• Work closely with Sales Engineers on technical requirements and proposed solutions.
• Handle multiple projects and technical requirements simultaneously.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams to ensure proposed solutions can be delivered according to project requirements.
• Communicate with clients to understand project requirements and technical needs.
• Conduct site surveys when required.
• Provide technical clarification during client discussions and commercial negotiations.
• Review project requirements and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve system design, automation, quality, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
• Provide technical support throughout the pre-sales and project preparation stages.

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Approximately 2–5 years of relevant working experience is preferred.
• Experience in project management or the construction industry is an added advantage.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply for suitable entry-level opportunities.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Project is preferred.
• Comfortable working with technical drawings, system designs, and project documentation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to coordinate effectively with clients and internal teams.
• Able to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Possess own transportation and able to travel to project or client sites when required.
