Technical Engineer

We are looking for a Technical Engineer to support our engineering projects, maintenance, commissioning, troubleshooting and technical services for industrial clients in Malaysia and overseas.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in engineering, project and site work.
• Carry out maintenance, commissioning and troubleshooting at client sites.
• Provide after-sales technical support.
• Assist with fabrication and development of prototypes, apparatus and training equipment.
• Support piping, instrumentation and basic electrical works.
• Prepare and read PFDs, P&IDs, drawings and technical documents.
• Prepare quotations, BOQs, reports and project documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Support sales and customer-related activities when required.
• Travel to industrial sites in Malaysia and overseas when required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Technical certificates or hands-on technical skills are an advantage.
• Good communication, analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• CAD / SolidWorks knowledge is an advantage.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work hands-on in industrial environments.
• Willing to travel for projects. Travel is generally short-term, typically a few days at a time, depending on project requirements.
• Valid driving licence, own vehicle and CIDB card are advantageous.
