Assist with the inspection, maintenance and repair of building systems, equipment and facilities within residential properties
Support senior technicians in performing preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal operation of property infrastructure
Respond to maintenance requests and work orders, prioritising tasks according to urgency and client needs
Document maintenance activities, repairs and inspections accurately and maintain detailed records
Conduct routine checks on electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other building systems under supervision
Assist in identifying maintenance issues and potential problems before they escalate
Maintain a safe working environment and comply with all health and safety regulations on site
Support the coordination of contractors and external service providers as required
Contribute to the overall cleanliness and organization of common areas and facilities
What we're looking for
Currently enrolled in or recently completed a diploma or certificate in facilities management, mechanical engineering, electrical technology or a related field
Strong foundational knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing and HVAC
Keen attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members and residents
Physical fitness and willingness to perform hands-on maintenance work
Basic computer literacy and ability to use maintenance management software
Valid driving licence is advantageous
Commitment to safety and adherence to health and safety protocols
Enthusiasm to learn and develop technical skills in facility management
