Role Overview
We are looking for a Product Design Intern to support the design of our mobile app and vending machine kiosk experiences. You will work closely with the Product Design Lead on UI execution, design system maintenance, prototyping, design QA and user research.
You will not be expected to own large product problems independently. You should be able to keep smaller design tasks moving, maintain design quality and help the team stay on track with the product cycle.

Responsibilities
Design and refine UI for our mobile app and vending machine kiosk.
Identify and design missing states, edge cases and interaction details.
Maintain and improve our Figma design system, components and files.
Create interactive prototypes for new and existing user flows.
Conduct design QA and flag visual or interaction inconsistencies.
Support user research, usability testing and synthesis of findings.
Prepare designs and assets for developer handoff.
Work with developers on design clarifications as you gain product experience.
Requirements
Currently pursuing a university degree or a fresh graduate in Singapore.
Background in Product Design, UI/UX, Visual Communication, Interaction Design or related fields.
Strong visual design fundamentals with good attention to detail.
Portfolio required
, showing relevant UI/visual design work and your design process (see "Your Portfolio" below).
Strong proficiency in Figma, including interactive prototyping.
Able to execute motion graphics and UI animation for product interactions.
Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and AI design tools.
Good understanding of components, design systems and consistent UI patterns.
Responsible, proactive and able to work independently — taking initiative without waiting for instructions, while knowing when to ask for help.
Able to manage tasks and keep up with product development timelines.
Curious about users and comfortable participating in user research.
Nice to Have
Experience designing mobile apps, kiosks or digital products.
Experience creating or maintaining a design system.
Experience with usability testing or user research.
Basic understanding of developer handoff and UI implementation.
Previous internship, freelance or real-world product experience.
Fluent in both English and Mandarin.

Evidence of systems thinking: reusable components, consistent patterns, or a small design system you built or maintained.
An interactive prototype or motion/UI animation sample (Figma link or video is fine).

Attention to real product detail: empty, loading, error and edge-case states — not just the happy path.
Work shaped by real constraints (client, school, hackathon or shipped work), with honest reflection on trade-offs.
Iterations and rejected directions, not only final polished shots.
